Back in the 18th century, some anonymous Scottish farmer realized his country had: (a) lots of sheep and (b) lots of harsh weather. That’s when he had an epiphany: What if we took some of that wool and wove it tightly into a warm, weather-resistant fabric? The result of this stroke of genius?
